F2 Systems was founded in 1998 by brothers Rich and George Fox to provide design and development solutions for print, multimedia and web emphasizing standards, open source software, and practical, accessible design. F2 had a number of familiar large clients and many more (but equally important) smaller ones who needed scalable cost-effective ideas. F2 was a successful partner with several technology-related non-profit and community organizations. F2 was officially disincorporated in 2005 after Rich and George moved on to different employers.
Rich Fox is currently working as a UNIX HPC systems administrator and scientific and administrative programmer in the Josephine Bay Paul Center for Comparative Molecular Biology and Evolution at the Marine Biological Laboratory.
